Alice Rebecca BRADLEY

I saw this request at the Tulare County message board at Genealogy.com:

"i am looking for any family information on alice rebecca mcclure - married name bradly. dont know first name of man she married. she was born 6 of june 1876, died 10 feb 1945 in tulare? i am related. she had a sister ethel maebel mcclure, married name driscoll. i would like to find living family and info. thanks"

Alice Rebecca MCCLURE was married to Charles Edward BRADLEY. I found the couple with their young daughter, Emily, in the 1910 Federal Census (Lindsay, Tulare County):

Charles BRADLEY, age 30, born in Ireland
Alice BRADLEY, age 33, born in Missouri
Emily BRADLEY, age 4, born in California

By 1920, the couple had two sons, Kenneth Edward BRADLEY (1912-1956) and Herbert R. BRADLEY (1914-1973). In the federal census (again in Lindsay, Tulare County), your relative, Ethel DRISCOLL, and her daughter, Helen, were recorded in the household:

C. E. BRADLEY, age 38, born in Ireland
Alice BRADLEY, age 44, born in Missouri
Emily BRADLEY, age 10, born in California
Kenneth BRADLEY, age 7, born in California
Herbert BRADLEY, age 5, born in California
Ethel DRISCOLL, age 34, born in Missouri
Helen DRISCOLL, age 5, born in California

Charles and Alice had divorced by 1930 and Alice was recorded as head of household in the federal census (Lindsay, Tulare County):

Alice BRADLEY, age 53, born in Missouri
Kenneth BRADLEY, age 17, born in California
Herbert BRADLEY, age 10, born in California

Charles Edward BRADLEY died in Tulare County on 18 June 1937. He and Alice are both buried in Visalia Cemetery.
