Armenian Thompsons of California (Fresno County)

I saw this request at the Fresno County message board at Ancestry.com:

"I am looking for more information about the descendents of Peter (Bedros Paloutzian) Thompson (1874-1936) and his wife Mabel (Hnazant) Bagdaserian Paloutzian (1879-?).

They had a ranch in Selma, CA and 8 children:
Soren (1899-1974)
Queenie (1900-?)
Agnes (1903-?) m. Kervork Boston, 3 children: Richard, Lucille, Eugene

Ernest (1904-?)
Helen (1907-?)
Clara (1909-?)
Peter (1911-1997) m. Rose, daughter: Caroline
Haig (1913-1946)

If this is your family, or you know of them, contact me! We're cousins!"

Hi Michelle! I don't know if you remember me, but I sent you some obituaries of your Paloutzian and related families about six months ago. Anyhow, I'd be very happy to help you with your Thompson family as well.

Here is Peter Thompson's obituary. From the Fresno Bee Republican, dated 27 October 1936:

And the obituary of his son, Haig. From the Fresno Bee, dated 18 May 1946:

Haig was a flying instructor and died in a plane crash. I can send you a more detailed article if you'd like.

Here is some more info. for you. From The California Death Index:

MONOOGIAN, Queenie, born 7 April 1900 in California; died in Los Angeles County on 19 October 2000
COLWELL, Helen Eleanor, born 9 Jun 1907 in California; died in San Diego County on 17 May 1998; father's surname: THOMPSON; mother's maiden name: BAGDASARIAN

This is what I found just right off the bat. I haven't done any detailed research, but I'd be more than happy to. Please email me if you'd like any further research.

Happy holidays!

Hi Jeannie,
I thought I'd ask this here so that you would have a reference to who I am asking about. I found Mabel Thompson's headstone finally (and Peter and Haig). The year of death is 1960 on the marker. I can't find any death record or newspaper notice though. Maybe you can find something?
